Preparing For A Remote consultation
DeterminIng Your Goals
What areas do you want to focus on?
Are there parts of your home that are a source of frustration?
Perhaps rooms for which you make sure the door is closed when you have guests over?
Has your use for certain rooms changed over time? Perhaps a playroom that you’d like to convert to a study or an office?
Setting Your Priorities
While we would all love to have a perfectly renovated, redesigned, and styled home tomorrow that is not practical for everyone (anyone!).
Think through what projects will provide you the maximum value in your day-to-day.
Perhaps you love to host holidays but need a redesigned space to do so or need to have a designated area for home-schooling.
Deciding On Your Investment
Every project is unique and yours will be as well.
To better help to determine the scope of your project, you need to have an idea of how much you want to invest.
This does not need to be exact, but a ballpark number will be very helpful for us to align on design and sourcing options.
Getting Your Inspiration
There are so many fantastic resources available on the internet, TV, and magazines.
Start to pull some ideas together so when we meet you can give me an idea as to what styles you like, what aesthetics speak to you.
A tear-out from your favorite shelter magazine can be helpful, as well as internet links to websites showing photos you like.
Pinterest is an awesome resource where you can peruse photos from all over the world.
You can create boards to organize your ideas and then share them with us!
Now that you know what to prepare for, tell us about your project and schedule a free 30-minute discovery call.
