About THIS Project
The Kitchen: not just a place where you cook but a hub from where you entertain, socialize and bond with family and friends. Our project conceptualization at this 1910 home in Weehawken was to maintain the functionality but to elevate a dark and tired kitchen into a truly alluring space.
Inspired by the existing reclaimed wood wall in the adjacent living room, we created a transitional kitchen with contemporary appliances, lighting, and traditional cabinetry.
We chose to use a contrasting gray shade against original white NYC subway tiles and showcase the organic
features with of natural wood with small accessories.
